Soluble bags are often marketed as biodegradable laundry bags for
the reason that they completely disintegrate during the wash (in
the case of fully soluble bags), with no plastic products going to
landfills or becoming waste materials in the environment. This
reduces the plastic waste output of organisations with bulk wash
requirements, minimising dependence on single-use plastic bags.
