PVA water soluble film

Water-soluble PVOH film is made from water soluble polymers, having
the appearance of a common plastic film. It has unique
characteristic of completely dissolving in water at room
temperature. The dissolved film disappears in water like sugar or
coffee and the ingredients of the film change their appearance but
remains present as dissolved solids in water.
With PVOH film it's possible to create a temporary backing that
acts as a stabiliser to make embroidery products with fast, easy
backing removal. Easy, total removal using just water has led many
firms to prefer this type of product to the more traditional paper
backing.

Applications of PVA Films:
- Embroidery
Traditionally, people use nn woven fabric in embroidery, but it can
result in waste and fade in color while washing.
But using PVA film, it can be solved by cold water, so you can wash
away the film without damaging the clothes. And it takes place of
non woven fabrics as it can avoid textiles deformation and fading
in high temperature.
- Mold Releasing
PVA film can bear 220 ,so it can be used as an excellent mold
releasing agent when parts are manufactured with unsaturated
polyester, epoxide resin or other thermosetting resin.
- Water Transfer Printing
Transfer printing is applicable for a wide variety of packaging
materials, including glass, plastic, metal, wood, porcelain and
other special surface. PVA film is often used in unregular objects
when it is need to print.
